I Picked Up Writing, Here’s Why It Worth It!

I have always disagreed with “everyone is made for something.’’ It’s like limiting our existence in something which seems unmatched. It doesn’t matter where you born, which beliefs you have and where your current living is being progressed. I think every human being have crossed this thought that we have always been fighting among decisions and picking up something to lean and go on with the life. Years passed and we have done tons of selections, decisions and picking ups. We have built a career, done education or maybe we have a good job to overcome the cost of living. But still, there is a voice pulling us back where our happiness is waiting for us, it’s misty and very hard to find it. Years we have been hearing this voice but ignored because we have been dealing with the reality which is not as real as we think!

The reality we are dealing is a compulsive pre-programmed socio-political and socio-economical mandate. To be accepted in a society, we have to pay taxes, we have to do the boring education spending over half of our life and we have to “pay” in order to live! Yet, listening to our inner voice among this noise and this big crowd, seems hard, unrealistic and it often sounds as an obstacle. We are pushed by this pre-programmed social mandate and we have built our unrealistic reality based on this compulsiveness!

Beyond this noise, there are tons of peaceful voices calling-pulling us back to lean on and build a peaceful life. I am sure you did a big exhale right here at point of this my article! Now I will make it clear why I prefer “everyone is made for anything” instead of “everyone is made for something.”

I never thought I will lean in writing and I don’t think I born to write as well. But it’s my pick up! I just picked up writing. I love Graphic Designing and Video Editing, but I just picked up writing. I never thought I would write for Medium or any other online platform. I have been writing for years in my own mother language Persian. And I am trying with my weak English and this is why I joined Medium to learn more and to improve myself with other beloved Mediumers!

It all about picking up! We can be anything if we take it seriously. Trust me buy a piano and keep practicing with YouTube tutorials and just continue for six months and see the magic! You don’t have to practice five hours a day; an hour would be enough or even thirty minutes. Today everything is on air, on the internet! We can pick up anything, just a pick up is enough, and then as Bob Dylan said: “The Answer My Friend, Is Blowing in The Wind!”

And we need to blow and continue with our pick up! We are capable of anything if we just wake up once from the unrealistic reality, we have designed for ourselves!

I picked up writing. There is a reason beyond this, it feeds my soul and gives me peace of mind and makes me empty of the awareness burdens I hold in my head! And the paper is like a white light for me, makes the writing as meditation. Writing is the best meditation! While it takes all the burdens from you and makes you empty. And this burdens, which is formed as words, is not that burdens we deal with the daily life, it’s the burdens of awareness, and help others while reading it. Because it makes the readers that they also have been dealing with the same energy as the writer experienced. When you read, you are like, it’s okay you are not the only experiencing it, humans in other corners of the world have been dealing with this and found the inner peace. This is why reading and writing is the best form of meditation!

I picked up writing, because I can express myself very well with it. I have written a lot of articles in my mother language Persian and I just started with my weak English on Medium. I will translate some worth reading of them and I will publish it here because this is the only worth platform on the internet to waste your time!
