has been few months I just left Social Media platforms. Especially Facebook and Instagram. You have no idea what an indescribable peace of mind surrounds your brain. It’s beyond words. Maybe there are a lot of people on social media and they are just fine with it and there is nothing wrong with that. But the joy of leaving that platform, is just beyond explanations! You’ll start noticing how your precious time is being wasted on random scrolling and condemning yourself why I just can’t do one of those million viewed nonsense videos that you just saw on a random scrolling!

A self-destroying word just drops in to your mind and after deep breath and a lot of yawning, you just lock your phone and put it away and you notice it has been three hours you have been spending on your phone for nothing! And that painful word is why!

Besides its benefits, the content on social media is just getting worthless and more commercial just for few pennies! You rarely get something to read or watch that gives you inspiration or make you think! All those memories, the competition of sharing selfies, checking less likes and comments, stress and drowning into uselessness feelings, this is just a gradual death!

I just shut it down all! I leaned on my old habits, Reading and Writing! These two are my old loyal friends whom I have learnt a lot from! I am just rereading As a Man Thinketh by James Allen and probably I’ll get some new good energy to move on.

I have written a lot of articles in my mother language, Persian. I just recently started to write with my weak English on Medium. :) and it’s actually a good step to improve my English for better expression of my thoughts.

After leaving social media, I just decided to not appear on internet at all. But only this platform stole my heart. Even though I can also see here a lot of commercial writings which have no essence and are just soulless words, but the majority is, Medium is full of beautiful people. The only platform worth to stay with it, and has no regret.

My focus in here is not about begging followers and think of how much penny I’ll earn, or how many claps I’ll get, but rather it’s my dream to learn and discover more, to move on writing and to stay in touch with people who value beautiful thoughts.

I am not a writer but I love writing. The reason is, it does not make me regret doing it. Anything does not makes you regret doing it, is important to get stuck with it. :)

I do write, but I don’t claim to be a writer. It’s not that I want to write; it’s the life, worth sharing experiences, and the unwritten words make me to write!

I am happy and inspired to be here. A heartfelt gratitude to those who read my broken words.
